Rock climbing, bouldering, and related activities are inherently dangerous sports. By using BelayLoop to find partners, arrange sessions, or share guest passes, you voluntarily accept all risks associated with the vertical world. These risks include, but are not limited to:
BelayLoop, its founders, employees, contractors, and affiliated parties shall not be liable for any injury, death, property damage, or other loss arising from your use of the platform or participation in climbing activities arranged through it.

Your safety is your responsibility. Always perform a partner check. Always verify a belay tag at the gym desk if you're unsure. No app replaces good judgment at the base of the wall. Trust your survival instincts, you have them for a reason.
Our community is the product. These aren't just rules — they're the foundation of a climbing culture worth belonging to. Violations may result in immediate removal from the platform.
Honest grades, honest profiles. Be accurate about your skill level, your belay experience, and your availability. Show up when you say you will. Communicate when you can't. Most importantly, be receptive to feedback—it's friction for your next send.
Harassment, discrimination, and intimidation of any kind. This includes grade gatekeeping, belittling others, coercing unsafe behaviors, and any acts that make the gym feel less safe. Denigration is pure sport for narcissists not climbers.
Ratings are mutual-blind: you won't see theirs until you've sent yours. This prevents retaliatory scores and keeps the feedback useful. Focus on progress, not payback.
Don't lie about your grades — up or down. Misrepresenting your ability wastes everyone's time and, more importantly, creates unsafe partnerships. Call your shots honestly.
BelayLoop reserves the right to remove any user from the platform at any time, for any reason, including violations of this Code of Conduct. We are not obligated to provide notice, explanation, or refund in such cases.
BelayLoop reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We'll do our best to let you know when something major changes.
